Description Roman Zabaluev 2018-01-15 07:46:48 UTC
This "mastermind" commit makes power button useless on laptops.
I have many ways to hibernate/suspend it so can I use this button what it's intended for please? Revert this or set some default "non-destructive" method and get the poweroff method back.

You don't explain what "this mastermind commit" is and your sarcasm is not welcome here. Read https://wiki.gnome.org/Foundation/CodeOfConduct . Thanks.
Comment 2 Roman Zabaluev 2018-01-15 16:21:29 UTC
Well I think issue' title and commit say enough: that's not possible to use power button to shut the system down. The available options are hibernate, suspend or nothing. There's no other options in dconf.
