Description Strangiato 2017-12-17 10:58:19 UTC
This happens on my two computers, both running cheese 3.26 on Arch Linux.
Comment 1 Entodo Ays 2018-01-20 19:55:10 UTC
I'm also running Archlinux and am having the same problem.
Comment 2 Strangiato 2018-02-22 15:10:08 UTC
it's still impossible to open cheese, but I get different messages now

(cheese:9623): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: cheese.css:7:35: The style property GtkScrollbar:min-slider-length is deprecated and shouldn't be used anymore. It will be removed in a future version

Note that bug 794626 contains the trace 238506 that shows it is hanging somewhere in gstreamer/pipewire.
Comment 6 Ondrej Holy 2018-03-26 07:31:22 UTC
I would say that this is still duplicate of Bug 782627, just the trace is slightly different due to GInitiable...
