As this meson porting[1] guide describes, we need port Logs from autotools to
meson.

I've pushed the patch to this branch[0], it should be almost done except a few
things:

1. missing detection of stylesheets required by man page
    - need port a few related m4 macros
2. missing test-desktop-file-validate.sh as check_SCRIPTS
    - need figure out how to do this in meson
3 or more?

wip/jonathankang/meson branch has been merged to master as
commit f54265f73ead1e052147cc9ff2915dfc3c9cd24d. We can fix things up later 
there in master branch.
