GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 790094
Sync notifications accumulate over time
Last modified: 2017-12-10 16:12:49 UTC
Created attachment 363256 [details] Too many sync notifications Context: My PC was offline for a few hours, but I had offline material that I wanted to read in the web browser (static html file). Then this happened... 1. The first synchronization error notification appears and I dismiss it (as usual). 2. After a while the second notification appears but these time duplicated and clicking the close button of one notification makes both dissapear. 3. After a while, 3 notifications, one click in the close button of one notification to make them go away. 4. This repeats until I got the picture attached. So, it seems like (sync) notifications accumulate over time. Details: Epiphany 3.26.1 Fedora 27
Thanks for reporting this, I'll look into it.
Created attachment 365317 [details] [review] notification: Destroy widget when close button is clicked
BTW, since with bug 790286, Epiphany will no longer try to sync if there is no internet connectivity.
