Description navdeep 2017-09-16 11:18:17 UTC
I'm running gnome on my thinkpad E460. I have a PrtSc in place of right super, so I remapped it to super using tweak tools, and then to super_r using xmodmap. I have also mapped super_l to super_r, and have set the 'switch to overview' setting to 'Right Super' in the gnome tweak tool.

I can't switch to overview using the left super key on my keyboard, although it sends out 'super_R' event(confirmed using xev).

If I reverse this, i.e. set the Right Super(PrtSc) to left super using xmodmap, and set 'switch to overview' to 'Left super' in the tweak tool, then I can't use the right super (working as super_l) to switch to overview.

Both these keys work as super while trying to use Super based shortcuts, like Super+Esc/ Super + Shift + 1 etc for doing different things..
