Description Frank 2017-08-31 19:10:32 UTC
CGS should respect proxy settings. Every time I start my system, I get a notification that CGS cannot connect to the internet. As far as I know, usage of libproxy seems to be best practice. I set up network manager and http(s)_, ftp_ and all_proxy (as well as the uppercase variants) and everything else works.

I don’t know which version I’m using, but I have Debian Stretch on that system (but I’m not there now).

This is fixed in git master branch.
You can ask Debian maintainer to backport patch.
