Description tenten8401 2017-07-31 00:02:23 UTC
So I have been noticing this on any distro I try with Gnome, but the windows just stutter slightly and it's really been driving me bonkers lately now that I've noticed. The effects are amplified with lots of windows open in my experience.

Here's a video of what I'm noticing (120 fps @ 25% playback rate to clearly show): https://youtu.be/gyGjZ7MWeVc
Non slowed version for reference: https://youtu.be/5js6rbuqIos

My specs are as follows:
- Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.6 GHz
- 16 GB DDR4 @ 2966 MHz
- NVIDIA GTX 1070 w/ Latest proprietary drivers

Potentially relevant info:
- 3 monitors (2x1080p, 1x900p)
- Gnome 3.24.2 on Manjaro Gnome
- Happens with no extensions or themes
- Using Xorg

Unsure if this is a mutter bug or not, feel free to lead me to the correct place to put this if needed.
