Description Michael Catanzaro 2017-05-16 21:31:09 UTC
I have to click on the search button in Geary's header bar in order to initiate a search. This is uncomfortable and unexpected, because in GNOME, applications with a search button in the header bar are expected to support type to search (of course, only when an input field is not focused).

Yup, this is the eventual aim. We need to get to Bug 778740 first though, and that requires a bit of infrastructural work as well.
