This is a tracking bug report.

Vala has been used for different IDE like Anjuta and recently GNOME Builder. The last have pushed the idea of immature Vala compiler because it's plugin has a lot of crashes.

So improve IED support, requires a set of actions like documentation, examples and may be add services over D-Bus or IP to allow local or remote calling of compiler, completion and diagnostics as a Server.

So once a feature has been detected and accept to work on upstream, should be added as a dependent to this bug. Maintainers should add or remove bugs dependencies.

Feel free to add any feature request.
