Description Piotr Drąg 2017-03-19 15:49:46 UTC
After the recent changes in master, strings from help/C/ show up in po/ and po-data/. Help has its own, separate .pot/.po files.
Comment 1 Matthias Clasen 2017-03-19 21:54:05 UTC
I wasn't sure how that works in practice - are you picking those separate po files up for translation on your own ? Do I need to do anything for that ? How does it work ?
Comment 2 Piotr Drąg 2017-03-19 21:59:35 UTC
Damned-lies can extract translations from .page files, as you can see here:

https://l10n.gnome.org/module/recipes/

However, I disabled LINGUAS check for help, as I don’t think d-l supports Meson yet.
Comment 3 Matthias Clasen 2017-03-19 23:07:31 UTC
I'll take the help stuff out of the make-pot script again, then.
Comment 4 Piotr Drąg 2017-03-20 14:24:07 UTC
The bug is closed as FIXED, but there are no changes in git?
Comment 5 Piotr Drąg 2017-03-24 18:18:47 UTC
It’s still a problem, especially since a complete help has been merged.
Comment 6 Matthias Clasen 2017-03-29 19:49:02 UTC
you don't say which branch and/or commit you are experiencing this problem with, so it is hard to be sure if it is still a problem or not.
Comment 7 Piotr Drąg 2017-03-30 04:48:52 UTC
I was only ever talking about master, as commit a136dc11486635a4579f838b575830333a569fb0 never made it to recipes-1.0.
Comment 9 Piotr Drąg 2017-03-30 14:37:29 UTC
It did. I wrote that comment before you committed the fix and closed the bug.
