Description Harshad 2017-01-12 05:24:40 UTC
Hello All,

I like to archive conversations when they are complete. To do so right now I have to multi-select all the emails in the conversation before hitting the Archive button. (I can, of course, also archive them one by one)

Attempting to archive a collapsed conversation archives the 'top' message. This is rather confusing behavior. Instead of this, it would be great if I could simply archive an entire collapsed conversation.

It might be valuable if deleting and moving conversations worked in this way too.

This might be implemented by making the act of selecting a collapsed conversation be equivalent to selecting all messages collapsed into it. Then the archive, move and delete actions would apply correctly. If this route were taken however, I think the logic for the reply button might need to be updated as well as reply is disabled when multiple messages are selected.

Thanks for all your efforts

This is covered with a change in bug #262328, thus I mark this as a duplicate of it.
