Description Frank 2017-01-08 22:14:44 UTC
The shortcuts in Geary don't work in combination with control keys. That's an issue since Gnmoe overall uses this forward typing search. And it is pretty annoying by for example losing mails when the 'a' is accidentally hit – by trying to search for something or by mistake. Please make the default setting using control keys (at least for actions, which can be overlooked easily, like archive, delete, etc.).

The current setting could be made active by a settings switch, of course. But I don't recommend this "expert" setting to be the default.

Hey Frank, thanks for the bug report. I think this is basically the same as Bug 733339, right? But see also Bug 778740.
