Description Hussam Al-Tayeb 2016-10-13 14:23:04 UTC
It now results in an empty bookmarks.gvdb file.
I edited .migrated and changed the 11 to 10 after closing epiphany.
It still results in an empty bookmarks.gvdb

I even had a full bookmarks.gvdb before sync was introduced and epiphany now cleared it.

I don't have a solution nor an explanation for this at the moment, but I find it hard to believe this is a sync problem. Actually, there is nothing in the sync code that removes the bookmarks.gvdb file entirely. All the sync logic is based upon the new bookmarks code and the API it provides (add/remove/save bookmarks).

This will require further investigation from me and Iulian in order to find where the problem lies.
