I'm running debian stretch/sid 4.6.0-1-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.6.4-1 (2016-07-18) x86_64 GNU/Linux
When i try to run gnome-software (version 3.20.2-2) i get this error:
"(gnome-software:23469): Gs-ERROR **: CSS parsing error: not a number"

Thanks for taking the time to report this.
Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it.

Looks like this is gnome-software 3.20 together with newer gtk+ 3.22. Please update to gnome-software 3.22 which is made to work with gtk+ 3.22.
