Description scootergrisen 2016-09-02 15:54:53 UTC
If i enable the screen keyboard is seems to just be A-Z keyboard normally used for english.

In my language we also have æøå. So the screen keyboard is not really useful in my language and i'm guessing in other languages as well.

I suggest the screen keyboard layout should follow the current language selected in GNOME or what ever would be smart.

Are there not some code we can use for different keyboard layout in different languages?

If i go to settings > keyboard > input sources - select "Dansk" and the keyboard icon button i can see a keyboard layout in my language with æøå.

Could the same settings not be used some how for the on screen keyboard?

Likely a dupe.

Yup. The underlying issue is still that caribou only has a single layout for latin languages ...
