GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 770021
please publish translations
Last modified: 2016-10-05 10:38:15 UTC
hi, we are 100% in french translation since December 30th 2015, please publish a minor version with it so end user can use it translated. I noticed other languages too. thanks for your help
Yes I was planning to do that while on holidays, but did not have many chances for that ever since December, unfortunately. However, I'll be on holidays the next 2 weeks, and so I expect to be able to sneak in some time to release a minor version just for the new translations.
Frogr 1.1 has finally been released, so I'm resolving this now. See the relevant commit at: https://git.gnome.org/browse/frogr/commit/?h=RELEASE_1.1&id=6879c71bbd0cb2d27a1ef0f69e81c5211c680b83
Thank you! About language support, my advice is to publish regular minor update just for languages (or including tiny bug fixes) so translator can spread new content/correction easily and packagers are used to publish your software because they run it more frequently.
Yes that makes sense to me. Unfortunately the amount of time I can devote to this is very scarce, and even a minor release takes some time that I can't easily allocate, so I'm not sure how realistic it would be, but I'll try.
thank you, we now are 100% for french, but I'm thinking to other translator friends ;)
