Chat popup losing keyboard focus

Created attachment 332731 [details] Screenshot of the issue The empathy chat popup losing keyboard focus, even after clicking on the message typing area, the focus of keyboard is not grabbed. The mouse also doesnt have any effect, cant copy paste into it(using middle button aka scroll bar). But the typing works when it is a empty desktop or if it is desktop overview. Message popup has interaction with mouse hover, but can not type anything in it. The issue is seen in both fedora 24 and arch, gnome20.X. NB:The message popup doesnt dissapear even if i click on some other areas, i have to click on the close button on it to close it. it is filed under diffrent bug.
Are you using the wayland session?
