We need to set  	

PO_DEPENDS_ON_POT =

and

DIST_DEPENDS_ON_UPDATE_PO =

to no (default is yes) to not update the po files every time we compile (as the translations are done externally in GNOME projects)

Is there a reason why that file isn't just 2 lines then?
