Description Sam P. 2016-06-07 10:25:23 UTC
For gmail accounts, in Geary, you can add an alternative email address which changes the from address when you send emails. However, Geary still defaults to the "@gmail.com" address, and there is no way to set it to default to your alternative address. Being able to set the alt. address as default would be nice.

Yep, Geary needs to let users change their primary email address, which is true of all account types, not just GMail.

Doing so might be dependant on Bug 714643 however.
