GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 764894
Missing patch from bug 754999: Exdates shown in timezone of the recurring event
Last modified: 2016-04-12 12:18:28 UTC
Bug 754999 results in a patch named Event exdate is in the timezone of the recurring event instead of UTC. In evolution 3.18 it seems that this patch is missing. Exdates are shown always in UTC.
Thanks for a bug report. The bug #754999 contains also a reason why it couldn't be committed to the stable. The stable branch is supposed to not change API/ABI, which happened there. There is also not planned to do any other releases for the 3.18.x, thus the only option to use this change is to update to 3.20.x or to convince your distribution maintainers to include the fix in the distribution on their own. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 754999 ***
