Crash log

While bug 762907 got fixed, now the GUI gets completely frozen after undocking. Looking into attached log, it seems that the computer is not completely frozen (NFS is still polled), but I cannot switch to terminal or do anything.

$ rpm -q mutter
mutter-3.19.92-1.fc25.x86_64

$ rpm -q gtk3
gtk3-3.20.0-1.fc25.x86_64

Is this reproducible? Can you ssh into the system when it's frozen like that and get a stack trace of the gnome-shell process?
Comment 2 Vít Ondruch 2016-03-30 14:38:20 UTC
It is definitely reproducible.

Nevertheless, I am not sure I can promise anything about stack trace :/
Comment 3 Rui Matos 2016-03-30 14:45:15 UTC
Just install debug packages for mutter, clutter and cogl and then look up gnome-shell's PID and run "pstack $PID"
Comment 4 Vít Ondruch 2017-08-09 08:20:04 UTC
I don't observer this behavior anymore.
