Description Arash Nabili 2016-02-07 18:16:50 UTC
As an example, I frequently use IntelliJ IDEA. When I first installed Fedora, the frequent view in the 'show applications' section of the activities overview didn't have IntelliJ in it. As I started using IntelliJ, it appeared in the frequent section. But then one day the icon for IntelliJ disappeared from the frequent section, even though I kept using IntelliJ.

Please provide version information for gnome-shell.
Comment 2 Arash Nabili 2016-02-10 04:06:09 UTC
I am using gnome-shell version 3.18.3.
Comment 3 Arash Nabili 2016-02-19 17:50:14 UTC
After a system update, the IntelliJ IDEA app icon has reappeared in the frequent view, along with a few other apps, even though gnome-shell itself wasn't updated.
