GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 761153
Notification of repeating event disappears always after dismissin
Last modified: 2016-07-07 23:25:29 UTC
Problem description: I am using gnome-calendar with owncloud (caldav). For repeating events there is a notification in the "events" section of the notification panel. Once this notification is dismissed, it does not reappear the next time the event happens. Expected behaviour: The notification should always appear when the event is happening altough it was dismissed in the past.
Thanks for a bug report. I'm not sure which notification you are talking about, because there can be one provided by the evolution, another handled by GNOME Shell (if you use it). The evolution-data-server doesn't do any notifications on its own (you filled this bug report against it). I've several questions for the starter: a) what are your exact versions of evolution-data-server, evolution, gnome-calendar and gnome-shell, please? b) The events section of the notification panel, do you mean in GNOME Shell, when you click the clocks in the top-middle of the screen?
Created attachment 321711 [details] Screenshot of the notification
To answer the 2 questions: a) - evolution-data-server 3.18.4 - evolution 3.18.4 - gnome-calendar 3.18.2.1 - gnome-shell 3.18.3 b) See screenshot attachment
Thanks for the update. Thus this is a question for GNOME Shell developers. I'm moving this bug report there.
I think this is a dup of 748226.
