GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 760604
Full screen glitch with mpv
Last modified: 2016-01-13 22:56:53 UTC
I have found a little full screen glitch with mpv and gnome 3.18 on my Debian Stretch system. The system uses a Intel HD4000 with intels open source drivers. You can find the same issue in the mpv bug tracker over at github, as i am not sure which project is responsible for the bug. https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/2697 Here a video of the glitch: http://b.1339.cf/rdqsdpx.mp4 I already tried the suggestion for setting `Meta.prefs_set_force_fullscreen(false)` as described in another bug [1], but it does not solve my problem. The mpv developer wm4 speculates in the issue if the method mpv uses for setting a fullscreen window might confuse mutter in some way. [2] Please have a look. And ask for anything you might need. Thanks. [1]: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=751585#c10 [2]: https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/2697#issuecomment-169926904
Going to dup on the older bug report. Let's use that bug and the upstream mpv issue to track this. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 751585 ***
