Description Daniel Aleksandersen 2015-12-31 21:56:40 UTC
This is highly opinionated, but I believe the default connection should use "irc.gimp.net:6697" with TLS rather than 6667 without encryption by default. Making more secure/private options the default is a good practice. Everyone and everything is moving to use encryption in this post-Snowden era and Polari shouldn’t be an exception. Users can still change this later, but let privacy be the default.

Handled as part of the connections redesign in bug 761859.
