Description Alexandre Prokoudine 2015-12-10 03:16:55 UTC
When I try to assign a Greyscale ICC profile to a greyscale image (respective image mode selected), GIMP says:

"ICC profile validation failed: Cannot attach a color profile to a GRAY image"

Instead it should check if color space of the ICC profile and the image match, then assign a profile, perhaps?

For testing purposes you can download elle's pack of profiles that includes some greyscale ICC profiles.
