Description qqke6wd9k 2015-12-04 18:18:57 UTC
It is a case of using the menu at next to the "Activities" in the upper left corner of the screen,

It is a case of that I have been launch multiple applications (for example "Software" and "Rhythmbox"), and if it is a cese of that I open the new window of each application by using the menu bar.

* procedure of my case

If the window of "Software Sources" and "About" is open, a few new windows of "Software" is open,
and then if I go another-application(for example Rhythmbox ) and I open the new window by using the another application's menu ( If at Rhythmbox, using "Preference" or "About" ),
and a few new window of the another application is open,
and then if go back to "Sottware"-Application,
then sometimes "Sottware"-aplication is Freeze.

If I do force-quit "Sottware"-application by using a side-bar,
then sometimes the menu of "Software Sources" and "About" is disappear.

Also the movement of the "Installed update" and "Software Sources", the similar freeze has occurred."Installed update"that had been started earlier froze.
After starting "Software" again, the menu "Software Sources" and "About" are lost. The menu has only "quit".

Moreover, after the resumption of "Software" from the first freeze, I can not quit the "Software" even if I press the "quit" in the menu.

I confirm that the problem exists. How to repeat:

1. Open the GNOME Software.
2. Open the About box (app menu → About).
3. Choose: app menu → Quit. The app window disappears. Note that in fact it is just hidden, the GNOME Software still works.
4. Click the Software icon again. The window appears but it does not work.

It looks like the About box is restored and grabs the keyboard and mouse focus but it is invisible. I am not sure if it is really not shown or just obscured by the main window. The same bug occurs if you choose the Sources dialog box.

There is a simple workaround: press the Esc key and the application starts working normally.

Another issue is that one can open multiple dialog boxes. It should be impossible, or at most it should be possible to open one About box and one Sources box. The next click should just bring the existing dialog box to the top. Now you can click About and Sources many times and each click opens a new instance of the box which is IMHO not correct.

But I have not seen the About and Sources menu items disappear.
