Description Mostafa Shahverdy 2015-12-04 06:00:45 UTC
Languages like Persian(Farsi), Arabic and Hebrew are right-to-left and BiDirectional.

Talking about BiDi, in english all characters flow from left to right, so this is simple to handle. In a pure Farsi text, all characters are shown from right to left.

Pure English should be like:
⇨⇨⇨⇨⇨english content⇨⇨⇨⇨⇨

Pure Farsi:
⇦⇦⇦⇦⇦متن فارسی⇦⇦⇦⇦⇦

Farsi and English mixed together should be like:
⇨⇨⇨english content⇨⇨⇦⇦متن فارسی⇦⇦⇦⇨⇨english content⇨⇨⇨

Using current gnome-terminal regularly acts like, which is wrong:
⇨⇨⇨english content⇨⇨⇨⇨ی‌س‌ر‌ا‌ف‌ ن‌ت‌م⇨⇨⇨⇨⇨english content⇨⇨⇨

This is very annoying specially when you want to edit a simple html page in Farsi using editors like vim.
