Description Sebastien Bacher 2015-11-25 11:09:28 UTC
Using evolution 3.18.2 on Ubuntu, since the 3.16 -> 3.18 update calendar events have 2 reminders, a dialog (from evolution-alarm-notify) and a standard notification. They both trigger at the same time and it feels like one would be enough

Thanks for a bug report. The opened window can be disabled in Edit->Preferences->Calendar and Tasks->Reminders->[x] Display reminder in notification area only.

It's still good to have "both" of them, because the window with the reminders can be left on another desktop, while the notification is shown in the current.

If you use only one workspace (or if the dialog opens on the current one, which it usually does) and get both at the same time it's still a bit of a suboptimal experience though...
