Description Kamil Páral 2015-11-20 13:09:11 UTC
Under X11, I can drop files from Nautilus into Firefox to add attachments in Gmail, upload documents in Google Drive, share images on imgur.com. Under Wayland, I can't do that - the mouse point resets immediately to a standard pointer when I cross the boundary of Firefox window and the dragged file disappears, nothing happens. But this only affects files. I can still drop text into Firefox (into text fields), e.g. from gedit.

I'm not sure if this is Firefox issue or compositor issue, please advise.

gnome-shell-3.18.2-2.fc23.x86_64
mutter-3.18.2-1.fc23.x86_64
nautilus-3.18.1-1.fc23.x86_64
firefox-42.0-2.fc23.x86_64
gtk3-3.18.5-2.fc23.x86_64
gtk2-2.24.28-2.fc23.x86_64

PS: I tried to do the same with Epiphany and it crashed, so I can't directly compare:
