Description Topolsky 2015-11-06 07:58:43 UTC
With simple pipeline:

gst-launch-1.0 videotestsrc pattern=ball ! glvideomixer ! ximagesink

The output is dropping frame (the ball is jumping not moving smoothly) when moving some (X) window.

Tested on version of nvidia-340 and nvidia-346.

The same pipeline with compositor works flawlessly.

gst-launch-1.0 videotestsrc pattern=ball ! compositor ! ximagesink

Tested on Ubuntu 14.04 64bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770S CPU @ 3.10GHz
NVIDIA Corporation GK106 [GeForce GTX 660] (rev a1)
8 GB RAM

Does this still occur with 1.8 or master?
Comment 2 Matthew Waters (ystreet00) 2016-11-15 05:45:26 UTC
I cannot reproduce this with 1.10 on Intel or Nvidia hardware.
