Description David Haney 2015-10-15 00:14:41 UTC
It appears that \. isn't behaving as documented, and is unable to prevent a number followed by a . from being rendered as a numbered list. For example, the following code (with a default generated Doxyfile), will generate two numbered lists.

/**
 * 1. Numbered list.
 *
 * 1\. Don't make a list
 */
class X {};

Confirmed. Should be fixed in the next GIT update.
Comment 2 Dimitri van Heesch 2015-12-30 10:20:22 UTC
This bug was previously marked ASSIGNED, which means it should be fixed in
doxygen version 1.8.11. Please verify if this is indeed the case. Reopen the
bug if you think it is not fixed and please include any additional information
that you think can be relevant (preferably in the form of a self-contained example).
