screenshot of gnome-system-monitor

gnome-system-monitor v 3.18.0 shows a large empty space above the process list.
gtk-inspector shows this to be GtkSearchBar (proc_searchbar).

Same issue with Adwaita theme

I have the exact same issue on Archlinux 3.18, I posted a screen grab of my issue using the Adwaita theme to show that this isn't due to any 3rd party theme issues.

Thanks for taking the time to report this.
This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed in the code repository, and released as 3.18.0.1. Once that release is available, you may want to check for a software upgrade provided by your Linux distribution.
