GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 754868
visual anomaly in gtk path bar
Last modified: 2016-01-25 10:47:38 UTC
Created attachment 311116 [details] notice the home button in the top bar. I'm not sure if this is a nautilus or gtk+ issue but under gnome 3.17.91, the home button looks cropped on starting nautilus. moving the mouse over it and clicking makes it render correctly again.
Created attachment 311118 [details] gtk+ save dialog Ok, it looks like a gtk+ issue since it appears in the save dialog as well
Ok, I asked about this in #gtk+ and this is the reply I got. > Company: (it's not cropped, it thinks it's not the last button and only the last one is supposed to draw a right border)
Anything on this one? I tried to look for previous reports too but I didn't know what keywords to search for.
This issue persist in Nautilus 3.18, tested on Archlinux. I was looking at the gtk+ git tree and saw https://git.gnome.org/browse/gtk+/log/?h=wip/csoriano/pathbar-prototype Will that fix this issue in gtk+ 3.20? Thank you.

To me the solution is worse then the issue, especially considering having the same in nautilus.
I applied the patch to my gtk+ 3.18.6 installation. No more visual issue in gtk file picker but still same issue in nautilus.
https://wiki.gnome.org/Design/OS/Breadcrumbs Will a new design land for 3.20 or is it deferred till later?
