Description David 2015-08-26 17:37:31 UTC
The Tutorial Chapter on Transactions (Chapter 4) has a number of structural and logical problems with it. Attached is a patch to reorder and clarify several sections of the chapter.

Included in the patch are changes that fix bug 744065 by adding a note to section 4.5.

Hi David,

This patch also had some errors when running xmllint on the end result:
- a link refered to a non-existing endpoint (txns-register1). I
have made it point to txns-register-oview. If that's not fix
feel free to correct is properly.
- there was a floating </sect2> closing tag. I have simply removed it
but maybe you intended to make a real section2 with title. Again
if so, feel free to send in a correcting patch.
- menuchoice can't be a direct child of a listitem according to the dtd.
So I have wrapped the listitem content in a <para> block which will
accept <menuchoice> blocks as children. I'm not sure if this is ok
layout wise. If not you may have to rethink this part.

Thank you for your work on the documentation !

(And remember to run xmllint :)
