Description Jo 2015-08-04 13:24:08 UTC
default installations of Gimp use the scroll wheel to move scroll bars, instead to zoom.

Zooming (and pan) is much more important than moving scrollbars -Gimp is a fast, creative tool, not a text editor.

some settings, like this one, look unexpected or not suitable, therefore i used the label "enhancements"

Let's resolve this one as a duplicate for bug 737570 and keep the discussions for better defaults and actual bugs in the respective reports.

thats works for me too - i know its so easy to configure custom shortcut keys for which im very thankful - however im truly puzzled of the idea why you developers assign more value to un-intuitive and slow methods like scrollbars are.
