Description brent s. 2015-07-12 20:47:55 UTC
It'd be really awesome if I could take the metadata (ID3, in this case) from some.file.mp3 and apply it to some.file.ogg (in ogg's case, "comments").

i release a podcast in both mp3 and ogg formats so i transcode the same track to mp3 and ogg- it'd be a huge timesaver if i could say "copy this file's info..." and then browse to the file (obviously some sanity checks should be made, i.e. is it actually an audio file etc.)

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new enhancement request ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/easytag/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
