Description Álvaro Peña 2015-06-23 10:38:11 UTC
Hi!

I have a Fedora 22 with Epiphany: 3.16.1 (GNOME 3.16.2).

I have configured the proxy as automatic with a proxy.pac which requires password to login (basic auth) in the Network configuration of the GCC.

Firefox works well with just this configuration.

I have tested to launch epiphany from a terminal with the "http_proxy" configured with the password in the URL (http_proxy="user:pass@server:port") and doesn't work.

This is probably a downstream packaging issue. See bug #703854 for what has gone wrong on Debian; I guess Arch may have a similar issue.
