Description Bastien Nocera 2015-05-20 14:51:52 UTC
This is a problem for AFC (iPhone/iPad) mounts.

We'd want to hide AFC mounts because they're not useful to users, mostly containing debug/developer information. Photos can be accessed through MTP/gphoto2 instead.

However, those mounts can still be useful to specific applications, such as iDevice front-ends.

I don't want to show those mounts in nautilus or in gnome-shell's popups, but they should still be automounted when possible.

Having the ability to mark volumes as "hidden" would be very helpful.
