Desktop icons are way too large in GNOME Classic session, using Nautilus 3.16.1. Please shrink these down to the classic size, so that it stays... classic. :)

The desktop icons follow the zoom of nautilus, and it can be modified in the nautilus window.

If you think icons are too big, they are too big in both nautilus and the desktop. So the problem is general, therefore a duplicate of 748441

I don't think this is necessary a duplicate of bug 748441. The desktop icons could use a different zoom level - there's no reason that they have to be the same.

Hm okay. There is no technical reason they should use the same, but I guess the purpose is the same as Nautilus no? So the reasons to use one or other zoom in a nautilus window or in the desktop should be the same I believe.

In case it isn't, we need a way to change the zoom then with UI for the desktop.
