Screenshots of the observed problem (window extremely wide)

I have some VPN connections configured with a lot of different Gateways from which NM should randomly select one each time I want to establish a VPN connection. The problem is that the network component of the gnome-control-settings wants to show them all, and thus the width of the window gets resized accordingly. This means that if there are enough VPN-Gateways in one connection it becomes really annoying to edit settings, as you have to move the whole window with the mouse to find the option you need at the other end.
Screenshots are attached.
