GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 746022
add keyboard shortcuts for legacy tray
Last modified: 2015-03-16 09:02:05 UTC
Please add some keyboard shortcuts for the new legacy tray. Currently, it can be expanded, focused and collapsed only by using the mouse. That's very impractical for many reasons, from handicapped people all the way to programmers who want to be effective and not reach for mouse all the time. Similarly to the Super+V shortcut to expand the notification list, can you please add a shortcut for expanding/focusing the legacy tray? Cursor keys could then navigate in the list, and the same shortcut or Esc could collapse it. It would be also great if the tray was reachable using the Ctrl+Alt+Tab shortcut. Thank you. gnome-shell-3.15.91-1.fc22.x86_64

Folks, has this been only added to Ctrl+Alt+Tab, or is there also some configurable shortcut for toggling the tray visibility (expanding+focusing, collapsing+unfocusing), similar to Super+V? I would really love the latter, it doesn't even have to be configured by default. Just to have an option to configure this in control-center.
