Description Bar Hofesh 2015-02-18 10:39:58 UTC
When changing the language (by Using Alt+Shift Key shortcut or manually changing by using the Gnome UI) the language indicator will change but the writing language inside the application wont change unless clicking on the background (or switching applications)

Gnome Shell Version = 3.14.0
Wayland Version = 1.6.1-1

Extra:
xorg-server-xwayland 1.17.1-1

Using Arch Linux (Stable Repo)

Are you seeing this behavior on all applications or only on X applications? i.e. does it work fine on weston-terminal but doesn't on xterm?
Comment 2 Bar Hofesh 2015-02-18 18:16:52 UTC
Yeha,

Now that I checked this happens only in X applications using the xorg-wayland glue layer.
Using weston-terminal this behavior isn't present.
Comment 3 Bar Hofesh 2015-02-19 07:52:54 UTC
Arch stable repo just pushed Wayland 1.7.0-1, I can confirm this is still an issue (again only in X applications)
