GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 742647
Swap usage doesn't match figures reported by swapon -s
Last modified: 2015-03-23 17:47:03 UTC
Hi Curtis, You were right when you said the following: (bug 708107 comment 2) > We might get a few questions on this by users. Turns out that I'm that user! I've seen this a few time recently and I realise that I expect GParted to report the same figures as swapon -s does. Fix to follow shortly.
Created attachment 294157 [details] [review] Make swap usage match figures reported by swapon -s (v1) Hi Curtis, Here's the patch for this. Thanks, Mike
Hi Mike, I successfully tested this change on the following distros: debian 7 kubuntu 12.04 LTS ubuntu 14.10 opensuse 13.2 Also as a test of backward compatibility I tried Fedora 12 and was able to compile and run GParted there. :-) I hope you don't mind, but I took the liberty of suffixing the bug number on the first line of the commit text. The patch in comment #1 has been committed to the git repository for inclusion in the next release of GParted. The relevant git commit can be viewed at the following link: Make swap usage match figures reported by swapon -s (#742647) https://git.gnome.org/browse/gparted/commit/?id=8b45219a2daee714ecd78ab163ff01a39c05d66c Curtis
This enhancement was included in the GParted 0.22.0 release on March 23, 2015.
