Description Jan Grulich 2014-12-01 12:23:25 UTC
When I activate a gsm/vpn connection, NM automatically creates ppp0/tun0 connection and activates it. I don't know if this is intentional or how it is supposed to work and if we should display those connections in KDE NM applet. Main problem is that NM creates these automatic connections again and again, which leads to a long list of ppp0/tun0 connections instead of just one ppp0 and one tun0.

NetworkManager version: NetworkManager-0.9.10.0-14.git20140704.fc21

bugzilla.gnome.org is being shut down in favor of a GitLab instance.
We are closing all old bug reports and feature requests in GNOME Bugzilla which have not seen updates for a long time.

If you still use NetworkManager and if you still see this bug / want this feature in a recent and supported version of NetworkManager, then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/-/issues/

Thank you for creating this report and we are sorry it could not be implemented (workforce and time is unfortunately limited).
