GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 740932
Actual temperature is always 1°C and clear
Last modified: 2015-01-01 23:47:33 UTC
I am using weather gnome shell extension, which uses libgweather and actual temperature is always 1°C and clear conditions. Forecast is OK. This bug is too in gnome weather app. My city is "Nitra" (in Slovakia).
I can reproduce the problem, but I'm afraid that the weather station closest to you (ICAO code LZNI at Nitra Airport) is not uploading any new data since 31/12/2012 - at least according to our source at http://weather.noaa.gov/mgetmetar.php?cccc=LZNI As you know the place, do you know if the airport is still operating commercial service? Because if so, they should start uploading recent weather notices soon, and otherwise, we need to remove the dismissed station from the list.
we dont have an airport :-)
you can remove that station from the list
Ok, I removed the non existing weather station. Now searching for Nitra should pick the closest station from another city. This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Thank you for your bug report.
thanks. so, for Nitra is no another station? :-(
(In reply to comment #5) > thanks. so, for Nitra is no another station? :-( Not inside Nitra (unless you can find it and give me the ICAO code). You can still choose Nitra from the dropdown, and you'll get the closest weather station, with usually accurate forecast.
