I live in China, where we under heavy mass-surveillance and network blockade. To access a IRC network, such as freenode or gimp.net, we have to change the default port and apply SSL for Freenode.

So please add support for port changing and SSL, otherwise we can not use Polari.

That's already supported - the server configuration parses entries of the form server:port.
