Description mtarzaim 2014-10-29 16:37:26 UTC
When a picture is imported as a layer, it should have its alpha channel enabled.
Quite annoying to import several pictures, and then go one by one to give them an apha channel.
Isn't it obvious any layer would need transparency by default?
What's the point to have layers to begin with?

We have a longer discussion about the presence or absence of alpha for layers in general, see bug 486902.
