2.6.4.2 Freezes when running a saved report configuration.

Thank you for your report. This sounds like a variation of bug 738477 although you are the first one to report a freeze while running a saved report configuration.

I would suggest to wait for that bug to get fixed and then try again. Until that time, please revert back to gnucash 2.6.3.

If the "saved report configuration" means the report is run automatically at open time, as the data file contains an open report tab, then I confirm it. I reported 738477 and didn't initially notice the correlation with the reports run because my data file always runs a few reports on open.

GnuCash 2.6.5 has been released, fixing bug 738477. Can you test if running a saved report configuration works properly with this new release ?

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software upgrade.
