Description Pedro Beja 2014-10-11 16:50:39 UTC
Forwarding from debian BTS: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=736166

-----
If a program is added with alacarte that is in a path that contains
spaces, the resulting desktop file will not be shown by the shell.
Wrapping the Exec= command in quotes (") makes it work.

It appears the Exec key is the only one that needs quoting. The Icon key
is broken if quotes are added.

------

I tried here with 3.11.91-1 and I couldn't add items while command contains spaces.

thanks

anyway it always needs " " to be a valid command.
